- Check if the unit is plugged in and power is on. Check if the controller connector is fully inserted in the socket. If the LEDs remain off, remove the controller plug from the socket and contact the customer service.
- Turn the controller off and remove the plug from the socket. Check that the controller connector is fully inserted in the heating pad and reinsert the plug in the socket. If the standby LED continues to flash, contact customer service.
- No. The heating pad is not designed for users to use in the case where they’re likely to fall asleep. Please do not use the heating pad in this case.
- All Sunbeam heating pads are machine washable. Simply detach the controller and place the heating pad in the washing machine.
- For HPN5500 the highest heat setting is 4. The highest heat setting is designed for fast heat-up only, it will automatically jump to the highest setting when the product is turned on. Please select and change to your desired heat setting after the pad is heated up.
- No. The controllers are designed specifically to different heating wire length in order to provide the best heating performance and maximum level of safety. Controller will sense the fault if incorrect controller is used, it won’t turn the product on, and light on Setting1 will keep flashing. If unsure of which controller matches with which heating pad, please refer to the instruction booklet or contact our customer service.
