- A power point overload occurs when you exceed the maximum amperage of the electrical circuit you are using. This can be caused by plugging too many appliances into the one power point or running appliances that draw high amps at the same time. Some appliances draw more amps than others, so avoid using the toaster together with other high load appliances, such as kettle and microwave oven, which might cause power overload and trip.
- To remove crumbs, give the toaster a gentle shake and/or tap on the table to help bread crumbs drop onto the crumb tray. After this, simply pull the tray out, empty the crumbs and place it back under the toaster. Important: Clean the crumb tray regularly. Do not allow crumbs to accumulate, as they may cause a potential fire hazard. To clean the inside of the toaster, unplug the appliance, turn it upside down over the sink and gently shake to make all the crumbs fall out.
- Use the’ Defrost’ button to toast your frozen bread. The colour of your toast will brown according to the toasting setting you chose. The ‘Reheat’ button will warm toasted bread and can be selected after the toasting cycle has finished. You can activate these functions by pressing the toaster lever down, then selecting ‘Defrost’ or ‘Reheat’ button.
