Visitors to Melbourne's Good Food and Wine show left the event with an abundance of culinary know-how, thanks to the Sunbeam Academy which was a sell-out success at last weekend's event.

"Sunbeam really hit the nail on the head in targeting what people wanted to discover at the show," said CEO David Jackson. "The cupcake and coffee school classes were completely booked out. We've had plenty of positive feedback about how enjoyable the classes were, with Sunbeam products impressing participants by their ease of use and the professional results they achieved."

With Erin Sampson, National Latte Art Champion of 2009 at the reigns, the Sunbeam Coffee School class unlocked the secret of perfect coffee creation.

The Sunbeam cupcake class freed the imagination of all participants, with designs from kangaroos to hamburger cupcakes emerging by class end. One lucky winner per class took home Pattie™ the Cupcake Maker, including the talented designer of the hamburger cupcake!

Sunbeam's FoodSaver class demonstrated the product's diversity, with all consumers impressed by the wide variety of foods which could be kept for up to five times longer than if stored using conventional storage methods.

A real treat for those attending the Melbourne show, Sunbeam's Academy classes will also be available at the Sydney show in July. With tickets almost sold out, Sydney-siders will need to get in quick to secure their places in the most anticipated classes of the show.
