FAQs

- Heat on MIN temperature for 20 minutes or until frypan starts to smokes.
- Turn the frypan off. Let it cool down to room temperature and wipe away excess oil. Do not wash.

When using highly pigmented ingredients such as turmeric (fresh or powdered), curry sauce, soy sauce and tomato sauce, some staining may occur. When cooking, always start with low or medium heat before adding food to the frypan.
High heat may cause the food to stick; the surface to discolour; or damage the natural properties of the ceramic coating. You can remove or reduce stubborn food residue by rubbing the ceramic coating with a cream cleanser or a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water using a clean cloth.
We also recommend that you repeat the seasoning process every 4 to 6 months for optimum performance.
- Yes, the DuraCeramic™ coating has superior food release ensuring fast and easy clean up. Please note that the frypan can be hand washed, it is not required to be put into a dishwasher. The control probe will need to be removed prior to washing the frypan, please allow the pan to completely dry out with the probe socket facing down to allow all the water to drain out.
- With the lid in place, the frypan can be used as an oven, giving you the versatility to bake cakes and roast larger pieces of meat. The lid also retains heat and moisture when simmering foods such as casseroles.
- No, it is recommended not to use metal utensils as these will scratch and damage the non-stick cooking surface. Only using heat-proof plastic or wooden utensils to stir food.
There are three preventative steps that can help prevent food from sticking.
- Season your pan before first use, please see our video above to get started.
- Allow the frypan to pre-heat on the MED/MAX setting. Then set the control probe dial to the desired temperature setting.
- When you start to heat the frypan, we recommend to allow the temperature to cycle (the light cycling on and off) several times. This will help the cooking surface adjust to a more accurate cooking temperature.
