FAQs

  • After removing the milk jug from the power base and emptying its contents, wait for the milk jug to cool down. Then remove the blender attachment from the base of the milk jug. When cleaning the inside of the milk jug and blending attachment, hand-wash only using a sponge or a soft brush together with normal dish washing liquid. Be careful when cleaning the base of the milk jug where the heating element has contact, as it must not be scratched.
  • Always disconnect the Cafe Creamy™ Milk Frother from the power outlet before cleaning any parts. Before cleaning after use, wait for the appliance to cool down. Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid, or allow moisture to come into contact with these parts. Do not use any solvents or abrasive agents for cleaning. Do not use and sharp or hard instruments such as steel wool for cleaning.
  • The Cafe Creamy™ Milk Frother comes with two milk frothing accessories. Use the attachment labelled 'MIX' to blend chocolate powder with milk to create either hot or cold chocolate drinks. Use the attachment labelled 'FOAM' to create hot, foamed milk for your coffee. Cafe Creamy™ Milk Frother will automatically stop once the milk beverage reaches the optimal temperature.
  • Preparing Hot Milk Beverage with Foam

    1. Remove the milk jug from the power base.
    2. Open the lid of the milk jug and insert the foam blender attachment into the base of the milk jug.
    3. Pour milk into the milk jug, to a maximum of 250mL, the level that is marked with ‘M’ for max. The milk jug must also be filled above the minimum level, as indicated by ‘O’ symbol, to operate properly.
    4. Secure the lid onto the milk jug.
    5. Plug the power cord into a 230-240V AC power outlet and switch the power on and place the milk jug on the heating element on the power base.
    6. Press the foam milk button to begin the milk foaming function. In approximately 4 to 5 minutes, dependent on the volume of milk, the appliance will automatically switch off and you will be left with hot, foamed milk in the milk jug.
  • Check for flashing control panel lights, this indicates the appliance is cooling down. Please wait approximately 4 minutes before restarting the appliance.
  • Before cleaning after use, wait for the appliance to cool down. Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid, or allow moisture to come into contact with these parts. Do not use any solvents or abrasive agents for cleaning. Do not use and sharp or hard instruments such as steel wool for cleaning.
    1. Ensure the HOT Mix or HOT Foam button has been pressed.
    2. Check the base of the milk jug is clean and without any surface damages before each use.
    3. Automatic temperature control allows milk to heat to its ideal temperature for texturing milk, around 64°C with a few degrees leeway before milk burns (subject to the milk temperature before starting, volume and ambient temperature). Other than ensuring optimal milk preparation, it also allows you to enjoy your drink right away.
    1. Make sure to use Foam Blender attachment and ensure attachment is clean, not damaged and sitting correctly on the jug base before each use.
    2. Check to make sure the base of the milk jug is clean and without any surface damage before each use.
    3. Milk foaming is affected by other variables such as the milk type and freshness of the milk. Frothing milk is introducing air bubbles into the milk and causes the protein to ‘bond’ with the air bubbles. The higher the protein content in the milk, the better. You will get better foam from skimmed milk, this is because of the low fat content. Fat works against the protein. It is also recommended to start with cold (4-8 °C) and fresh milk (within 3 to 4 days after purchase) that has not been steamed or frozen before. When milk is too old, fat will break down in the milk and the free glycerol is working against the protein in the milk.
