For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven.
Ingredients:
- 3 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp rosemary leaves
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 piece pork belly
- 2 tsp extra sal
Let's make it:
Step 1:
In a bowl, mix thyme, rosemary, lemon zest, lemon juice, chilli flakes, salt, and pepper until combined.
Step 2:
Grab your pork belly and make a cut down the middle on the meat side, about halfway through. Then, turn your knife sideways and carefully slice to the edges on both sides. This creates a flat surface for seasoning.
Step 3:
Lay the pork belly flat with the skin side down. Spread the herb mix evenly across the meat, making sure every bit is coated.
Step 4:
Sprinkle the fennel seeds over the herb mixture for an extra flavour punch.
Step 5:
Fold the sides of the belly back into the middle so it’s back in its original shape.
Step 6:
Drizzle olive oil over the skin, then sprinkle generously with the extra salt.
Step 7:
Place the pork belly on the rack of your Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven. Set it to 180°C and press ‘Air Fry’, then, let it cook for 1 hour.
