For this recipe you'll need a Sunbeam Multi Zone Air Fryer Oven.

Ingredients:

  • 1kg raw chicken wings, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp sriracha seasoning
  • 70g flour
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 100g panko breadcrumbs
  • Spray oil

Sriracha seasoning

  • 25 small dried whole red chilles
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Let's make it:

Step 1:

Set aside dry sriracha seasoning, or create your own by grinding the ingredients into a powder and storing in an airtight container.

Step 2:

Place the chicken wings onto a large plate or into a bowl, pat dry with some kitchen paper and sprinkle over the seasoning. Massage this into the chicken and set aside for 30 mins.

Step 3:

Place the flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs onto 3 separate plates. Arrange these in a line with a clean plate at the end, this is going to be your wing coating.

Step 4:

Place 1 of the chicken wings onto the flour plate, dust with the flour, turning to fully coat, before tapping off any excess flour. Then, place this into the egg, repeating the coating process before finally placing the wing into the breadcrumbs.

Step 5:

Once the chicken wing is fully coated in the flour, egg and breadcrumbs, add this to the clean plate. Repeat this with the remaining wings.

Step 6:

Once you have finished, spray the wings with a little oil before placing these onto the large roasting tray.

Step 7:

Insert the tray into the airfryer around the middle position.

Step 8:

Select air fry 170°C, 25 minutes, ensuring these are turned and resprayed with a little oil, halfway through the cooking time. The unit will sound when you need to do this.

Step 9:

Serve warm with a pot of sweet chilli sauce or sriracha for dipping.
