For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam SteamFry Air Fryer + Steam.
You will need:
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 500g minced beef
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 500g jar pasta sauce
- 500g jar white sauce
- 75g cheddar, grated
- 50g Parmesan, grated
- 5-6 dried lasagne sheets
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onion and sauté until beginning to soften.
Step 2:
Stir in the minced beef, breaking this up with the back of your spoon. Allow the mince to brown before stirring in the garlic and herbs.
Step 3:
Add the tomato puree and pour in the tomato sauce. Simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, add a little salt and pepper and set aside.
Step 4:
Spoon the white sauce onto the bottom of your lasagne dish add a sprinkle of grated cheddar and parmesan.
Step 5:
Add a layer of lasagne sheets, snapping these to fit completely over the sauce without overlapping.
Step 6:
Add approx half the meat sauce spreading this over the lasagne sheets and repeat the layers from the beginning. Finally finish with a covering of the white sauce, grated cheddar and parmesan.
Step 7:
Place the dish carefully into your air fryer drawer and select the Steam function, 100°C for 15 minutes.
Step 8:
Once the steam time has ended, select Air Fry 170°C for 15 minutes. Once the cook time has ended, allow the lasagne to sit in the air fryer basket for a further 5 minutes to firm up, before removing and serving.
