For this recipe, you'll need a Sunbeam Mini Snack Press & Grill.

You will need:

  • 3 frozen hash browns
  • Oil for brushing
  • 2-3 chives chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • Seasoning
  • 4 thin slices of chorizo, torn
  • 1 spring onion, cut into thin rings
  • Hot sauce to serve

Let's make it:

Step 1:

Preheat your Mini Snack.

Step 2:

Brush both top and bottom plates with a little oil.

Step 3:

Add the frozen hash browns and close the lid, cook for 8 minutes, turning half way through cooking (these don’t need to be brown and crispy).

Step 4:

Remove from the snack maker and once cool enough to handle. Crumble into flakes.

Step 5:

Beat both eggs and seasoning in a small bowl, add the chopped chives and the crumbled hash brown, mix to combine.

Step 6:

Brush the bottom plate with a little oil.

Step 7:

Add half of the torn choritzo and half of the spring onions to the hot plate and allow to sizzle and cook for approx 30 seconds.

Step 8:

Pour in half of the egg mixture and close the lid, cook for approx 90 seconds.

Step 9:

Flip once set enough to handle and cook for 30 seconds more.

Step 10:

Remove and repeat with the second batch of ingredients.

Step 11:

Delicious served drizzled with hot sauce.
