Browning Setting
- Medium or medium high
You will need:
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp caster sugar
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1¼ cup buttermilk
- 1½ Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Let's make it:
Step 1:
Preheat the Sunbeam waffle maker by plugging it in and selecting your shade preference.
Step 2:
In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt and sugar.
Step 3:
In a jug, whisk together egg and buttermilk, add to flour mix and whisk until combined, do not over mix. Stir in melted butter.
Step 4:
Fill the cup measure to the top with batter and carefully pour into the top of the machine.
Step 5:
Once the waffle is cooked, serve immediately with your favourite topping.
