Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uneven Toasting This toaster has additional heat in the center element and so toasts unevenly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Process is too fast Bought in January 2016 and find that it toasts the outside very quickly but leaves the inside still just like a piece of bread. I didn't realise how poor it was until I used a regular toaster on holidays and could really enjoy my morning toast again heated all the way through. Will be looking for a replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks and promises to be good i am not happy with the toaster. Takes ages to toast, only Browns on the highest settings or sometimes have to put the toast in again. Basically a bad model for not a cheap price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Build Quality My previous one was a thirty dollar budget toaster that lasted for two years. I wanted to get a decent one this time with the dials on the side for better viewing and easy adjustments. This is one of the few that stands out. Very good build quality, every moving part feels solid, especially the dial. When you turn it, there's a distinct clicking sound. Top of the toaster is in the shape of a shallow basin, so crumbs don't get out easily, good detail. It toasts really fast, less then half of what you usually need to wait. I'm not too fussy about getting the "even toasting pattern" on both sides of the bread. It's decent enough for me. I'd say definitely worth the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Start off very well, but faded over time Loved this toaster for the first 12-15 months. Genuinely hot and quick, so much so that you had to be careful not to burn the toast. It was a bit like toasters used to be back in the good old days before they became safe, boring and incredibly slow (eg 4 mins). Then the auto timing on the toaster changed. While still able to produce the initial red hot burst, the amount of time it was maintained markedly decreased and the 60 sec toaster became the 3 minute toaster on its auto settings. The only way to get a fast toast now is to eject the bread after 20 secs and start the toaster again 2-3 times. That we the red hot heat remains on. Despite this failing, it was still fairly good value for just $80. Might buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo does what it says! With both of us working, breakfast time is like a military operation & the turbo toaster is our go to weapon of choice! We don't have much bench space so we love the size of it. Best of all, it's amazingly fast & browns evenly. We toast regular bread, sourdough & bagels within minutes. Can't beat this beauty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You'll strugggle to find a better toaster I have owned this toaster for just over a year and I am very happy with it. Usual price then was $99 so when Myer advertised a promo of $79, I snapped it up without hesitation. It looks like the same promo is repeated this year. This toaster feels solid and durable. And I like the fingerprint-resistant material on the sides. The biggest issue is the uneven toasting. I found that the top and bottom halves of the bread do not toast uniformly. I like my toast to be dark and crunchy, but on a setting close to the max, I found the top of the bread was overdone and the bottom underdone. I soon figured out a workaround. Rather than a single toasting cycle of 7 or 8, what I started doing is TWO toasting cycles in succession, each on a setting somewhere around 2.5. Only the second time, I first invert the bread. Result? Delicious and perfect toast every time! Although it appears in two different places in the manual, there is no "HOT" warning on the top surface (only a "DO NOT COVER" warning). "HOT" needs to be stamped on the top for forgetful people like me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns Toast It never cooks the bread evenly and you need to put it down twice each time you use it and usually end up with uneven or burnt toast. There is no in between! I am getting rid of mine to get something else. It drives me crazy!
