Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died after 3rd use I purchased the LC6000 purely to process breadcrumbs, as I usually borrow other people's processors but it was becoming annoying not having our own. I do a bulk amount of breadcrumbs generally once a year and was doing the same today, half way through, the processor simply died. I was completely baffled and highly irritated as this is the third time I have used the processor since purchasing in 2017. Beyond dissatisfied, the lasting power of a Sunbeam product obviously isn't as it used to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Really Disappointed I have several Sunbeam products that I've had for over a decade & am super happy with so I didn't bother checking reviews when I bought this only 3 weeks ago. I had a few choices but I went with the brand I know well & trusted. Oh, how I regret being so naïve, I really wish I had read the reviews on this product first! On only my third time using the food processor, I put the julienne blade in to chop some veg for dinner. It made a huge crunching noise so I stopped it quickly, opened the lid only to find, like many others, the blade is bent, a cracked lid and a snapped spindle. So now not only am I without a food processor I can use, my dinner had shredded plastic through it so no dinner either. What a waste! I'm not sure if this is a design flaw or just the result of an increase in using substandard plastics in their products but Sunbeam is definitely not on my go-to 'trusted quality brands' list anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not recommend people with weak wrist Not simple to undo Glass base to clean. Have to make sure the tool to undo is sitting in exact posion and you have the strength to undo and do back up .If not liquid leaks out. Shame as it works well .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing food processor Purchased approx 1 month ago and am in love. The motor is strong enough to tackle anything. Interchangeable blades means I no longer need several appliances or devices because this does it all

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First blender ever purchased I have had this combo for not even a total of 4 weeks. Used the blender almost once daily. Blender stops working mid blending. . Bought this bad boy to help get nutrients while pregnant and having to use the processor to blend my food. What a joke.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic blender, easy to use, Bought this a month ago, and have made the kids heaps of milkshakes in it along with grating cheese, carrots. Chopped up onions and other veggies to make cooking dinner quicker and easier.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blender broke My mom bought me this as a Christmas present. I started seeing minor issues with the processor from the start. The lid is domed, so any food you use the slicer/grater blade for ends up pulling out of the chute and riding around the top. The center post is flimsy and perpetually loose. Like others have said, the motor is exceptionally loud. Worst of all though, the third time I used the blender, the blade stopped turning. The processor blade still works, but it only took three milkshakes to stop the blender.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but doesn't last forever. This was an ideal pick as a low cost multitasker in the kitchen. I chose it for its high motor power, the versatility of attachments, and the (perceived) sturdiness of the parts. I use the processor really often for baking - the dough blade is great for stuff like scones or biscuit bases (doesn't have the power to stand up to gluten doughs, though, better to get a bread machine or stand mixer if that's what you want to do), the whipping disc seriously is fantastic for egg whites and cream (really good if you're like me and can't hold up a hand mixer due to joint issues) and I have used the other parts for things like grating potatoes and carrots, or chopping nuts and seeds. My boyfriend uses the blender for smoothies. After about a year* of weekly use (*only three days out of standard 365-day consumer warranty, in fact) without so much as a scratch on any of the parts the blender carked it. I don't know what's wrong with it - the blade simply won't turn anymore. It's like it's stuck. We blend mainly soft foods like strawberries, mangoes and bananas in there, nothing mechanism-shattering. The processor itself is fine, so it'll be the internal parts in the jug. I sort of expect this with appliances these days, though (a lot of planned obsolescence floating around) and originally got the extended care plan from the retailer I bought it from, so I'll be seeing if I can get a replacement there. Just replacing the jug is 80% of the RRP, so I'd recommend covering your behind with something similar if buying on a budget like this. Then it won't cost you twice as much when you have to get a new one ;)
