Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought this iron 6 months ago and it is constantly causing my fuse box to turn off. There is an obvious fault with it. Would not recommend buying one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please help me, Sunbeam - my 1 hour old iron spits So, So disappointed. My < 1 hour old iron (6250-Verve 62) spits water on its inaugural use. I've always found Sunbeam products to be good and I understand that sometimes mass produced items slip through the net, but as it states in the boxed material, it's been quality tested. I'm not sure what got tested but the feature of spitting water on max temperature is not one that was checked for. As the contact centre is closed (only open during business hours) and I need an iron for this weekend so that my clothes are flattened for work next week, please will you contact me asap to help me resolve this issue? (Happy to provide updated review if anything changes/as this case progresses) Thanks, Kristen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks I bought this model two days ago. It irons and steams beautifully and feels good But it leaks water, a steady drip from the base when it's standing up. Downright dangerous. I now see from Internet reviews that lots of people have the same problem so sadly I will not replace it with another Sunbeam iron. I've had several Sunbeam irons over the last fifty years, and the old trusted Mixmaster and frying pan. Sadly Sunbeam has gone the way of everyone else with cheap and nastily made products and no quality control.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value I bought this on sale just before Christmas when my other one died, and I received it within a couple of days. It heats up and cools down really quickly and doesn't stick. Great value for money

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unfortunately not up to promise. I am very disappointed with this product. I have had two replacement irons and both do not operate correctly. The first iron did not spray water and the second iron leaked water onto the clothes. Both irons felt sticky on the sole plate when ironing. I have used Sunbeam irons for many years, the last being an Ultra 5500,which was,in my opinion, a brilliant iron with a great shot of steam and excellent ironing result. Unfortunately the 5500 is not replaceable. I could not recommend the Verve 62 unless it operated correctly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother Tried it on two different pieces of clothing - didn't exactly get the creases out. After using the iron and standing it up it spurt steam droplets all over the item of clothing I was ironing and over my daughter who was sitting on the other side of the two seater lounge

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It kept tripping the circuit breaker I bought it not long ago. I had to stop using it as it kept tripping the circuit breaker in the main box. I am here now looking for a new iron but definitely I will not buy Sunbeam again.
