Hints & Tips

What can i do with the leftover fruit pulp?
Leftover pump can be used as compost in the garden and pulp from certain vegetable, such as carrots, can be used in baking or feeding pets such a rabbits.
How long can i keep my juice for?
Due to the process used by the juice extractor, the nutrients in the juice start breaking down almost immediately. The means fresh juice is best consumed immediately after juicing. After this time you may experience discolouring or separation of the juice.
Can i juice bananas?
Bananas can be hard to juice but the taste goes a long way. When juicing a blend of fruit with banana, add the banana as either the first or second piece of fruit. The nectar of the banana will sit inside the filtering basket and as the remaining fruits are added into the juice extractor they will release the banana nectar throughout the rest of the juice resulting in a frothy flavoursome juice.
How do i prepare fruit and vegetables for juicing?
As a general rule only put into the juicer what you would consumer. For example skins from oranges, kiwi fruits, grapefruits and large stones from mangoes, peaches etc must be removed. Not only will they affect the taste of your juice but they may also damage the juicer. Depending on the size of your fruit, you may also need to chop your fruit into halves or quarters to fit into the juicer chute.
Can i juice herbs?
Yes you can juice herbs. We recommend adding herbs in between the fruit and vegetables to get the most out of the herb. If only using a small quantity, add the herb at the same time as a piece of fruit or vegetable.
Does it matter what order i juice ingredients in?
When juicing different fruits and vegetables it may help to juice in different combinations. For example, when juicing apples and oranges, juice the soft fruit (oranges) first, then follow with the hard fruit (apples) second. This will help you achieve the maximum juice extraction from the fruit and vegetables.

Great for a budget juicer
Most juicers are so expensive and I was sort of nervous buying this one because I thought I might not work very well. However, it grinds up anything you need to, without fuss. Carrots, apples, everything. It's always really easy to clean. I think for the price tag, its definitely good if you just want to grind up some juice everyday or so.

best thing we've bought!
This is such an amazing juicer- it will juice everything from apples to pineapple to carrots and is able to extract a lot of juice out of only a few fruits! Two apples will also give you a full cup!
Definitely worth it-especially since its on sale!

lasts a month then dies
at first i thought it was a great juicer, powerful great for $99 we paid for it, but then 1 month to the day it just stopped working.
while it worked it was easy to use, just right size, motor was powerful, easy to clean, and just great... pity it stopped working - only would use it for a few minutes each night

Really poor quality
Now, I know that this juicer is cheap compared to many of the machines on the marked, but it is just not worth the money. The juicer was already broken when I unpacked it. There was no blade in the package and both the container for pulp and the cup that holds the juice was shattered to pieces, the plastic will not hold. The piece that was supposed to pour the juice was missing. Just don't waste your time on this product.
