Sugar Syrup
This is a basic sugar syrup that can be used in sorbets, gelato, cocktails, coulis.
Preparation Time:
Cooking Time: 10 min
Serves: makes 1 1/2 cups
Ingredients:
1 cup (250ml) water
1 cup (220g) caster sugar
Method:
1.Place the water and sugar in a small saucepan.
2.Stir over a low heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Store in refrigerator.
