Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sunbeam blenders are not what they used to be! We bought the LC6000 to replace a competitors blender and an old Sunbeam mixer however to this point have only used the blender function. Out of the box it looks pretty good and all fits together fine. The two speed motor is amply powerful for the job however it was a bit noisy compared to the previous blender. We use the blender each morning to make a smoothie and it does this effortlessly however within six months of use, the noise level of the motor/drive mechanism has continued to increased to the point where hearing protection is required as it sounds like a hammer drill drilling concrete. (no I am not making that up!) Another five month on (now 11 months old) the centre bearing for the blade has flogged out to the degree that this morning, the drive mechanism was vibrating so badly that something has come adrift inside and has locked the glass jug to the motor assembly. As I said earlier, the mixer function/attachments haven't yet been used. :-(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and reliable I replaced my old processor (different brand) with this stronger one and am so pleased I did. All the components fit neatly inside when not in use. It is easy to use and looks great in the kitchen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Processing bowl cover I bought this multiprocessor in February 2018. I had used the previous model for years and was very happy with it, so naturally I again chose Sunbeam. This new purchase has given me lots of grief as the bowl cover continuously gets stuck to the bowel & can't be pried open. I have now caused a small chip to the bowel cover by using all of my power to remove it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Second broken spindle in 18 months The blender is great, and the chopping component of the processor is great, but the spindle has broken twice in 18 months. The first time I was grating carrots and the second was using the julienne blade. ( the blade also died). As it’s out of warranty it’s not worth buying parts so will be shopping around.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very happy - nearly 5 stars! I bought this back in January 2017 and it gets used regularly by my wife and daughters. They are very happy with both the blender and the processor. Plastic processor bowl just recently get a crack in it near the handle, so is leaking and will need to be replaced. Will contact customer service and see how I go. Great value for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Blender But The Processor Lid Gets Stuck The blender works perfectly. The jug itself is made of glass which some people may prefer. I personally would prefer plastic as it would be lighter and I would be less worried about it falling and breaking. The processor works well however it's extremely difficult to get the lid off once on. Pretty sure its faulty hence I will be looking to return it. I have read a couple reviews with this same problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slicer broke on first use. Bought circa Q4 2017 as a present for myself. I have been using the blender but not the slicer and mixer. But today I decided to make a large amount of coleslaw for a party and used the slicer function for the first time with the Julienne blade. Slicing the cabbage was straightforward. Emptying the jug was straightforward as the capacity. However, when slicing the second carrot (that was cut lengthwise) the slicer caught and the plastic bits on the spindle and the lid broke. The top of the central spindle broke off and the metal slicer was bent out of shape. I have asked Sunbeam support via their webpage if I can buy and replace these components separately and at what cost? I am not asking for warranty or free replacement on this piece of plastic junk. Just trying to understand if it is worth replacing the components or essentially end up paying for a higher quality other brand appliance.
